Pawhuska Kids' Stuff was published April 24, 2007, and is now available on www.amazon.com and on www.bn.com for $14.95 plus shipping and handling charges. I want to thank all of you who stopped at our vendor booth and purchased the book. Pawhuska Kids' Stuff is a book about growing up in Pawhuska in the 1950's. Its subjects range from the four (that's right, four) theaters that were in Pawhuska, to Union and Franklin grade schools, and many of the experiences that we had as children in Pawhuska. Union was my school and is described in as great a detail as I could remember it. I wrote about the boys that had motor scooters, some of our teachers, Mr. Arnold in particular, a few of my teachers from Union who influenced me greatly, and the teacher who wielded the meanest paddle of all. Bobby Hughes was one of my childhood friends and a photograph of him together with me appears on the cover of the book. The book is published by Outskirts Press, Denver, Colorado, and is now available from several different sources. Some local stores may carry it also. The ISBN-10 is 1-59800-669-X while the ISBN-13 is 978-1-59800-669-8. I wrote under the name of Stevie Joe Payne, which was my childhood nickname, and one I have had some difficulty getting away from. I am a member of the National Writers Association, American Translators Association, and the National Association of Photoshop Professional. Stevie Joe Payne
